Types of personal data processed

May include your name, address, contact details, gender, date of birth, NHS number, medical and dental history, family medical history, emergency contacts, marital status, financial information, GP details, and treatment information. Sensitive data may also be processed where necessary.


Data retention

  • Patient records: Minimum of 10 years

  • Staff records: 6 years

  • Other data: 2 years after last processing

Includes the right to be informed, access, rectification, deletion, restriction, data portability, objection, and rights relating to automated decision-making.


NHS National Data Opt-Out

72 Dental only uses your data for direct care. The national data opt-out does not apply.
